Question presented by a reader: like back in the 80s & 90s MTV was considered a very influential thing.
if a band could get onto MTV they were lucky & would be known. it was used as a way to educate people of other music apart from just Radio music (although MTV would play alot of pop music it also encoporated Prince/Queen etc)

now though its just reality tv & has the rare countdown on charts music.
what happened? why did a show that was loved by music lovers go from music to just garbage for $$$?
