REMEMBER from now on DO NOT Update your Firmware! REMEMBER you can also @reply me on twitter for help!! - iphone 3.1.2 Firmware with 5.11.07 Baseband! iphone 3G - bit.ly iphone 3GS - bit.ly - Download blackra1n and blacksn0w!: blackra1n.com ============== !IMPORTANT! If your ipod Touch 3G, or iphone 3GS boots up in recovery mode (Connect to itunes Logo) Simply plug it in and re-run blackra1n to boot it up ============== WRITTEN INSTRUCTIONS 1. Plug in your iphone and update to 3.1 or 3.1.2, your choice just make sure your on 5.11.07 baseband! 2. After iphone is done updating go download blackra1n: blackra1n.com 3. Make sure you download the correct version, either Windows or Mac. 3. Save to desktop *(ONLY on Windows)* right click then open as administrator 4. Open blackra1n, make sure your iphone is connected still, and click "make it ra1n" 5. Let it jailbreak and reboot 6. go into the blackra1n.app thats on your Springboard 7. Tap on the packages you wanna install, I recommend only Cydia for packages, and of course sn0w which is the unlock! (Recommended your on a Wi-Fi Connection) 8. Let it download and install Cydia, then let it install sn0w 9. Once sn0w is download, it'll respring and your done! 10. *ONLY for T-Mobile Subscribers* Go Into Settings - General - Network - Disable 3G 11. Enjoy ...

blackra1n will work as long as your on 3.1 firmware it just doesn't work 3.1.3 as of right now and if you restore your phone yes it will erase everything

@iRockIshVids Will that erase all the cydia apps I have on there already? Also are you sure blackra1n will work for bootloader 5.09?

I have a 3.1 iphone running bootloader 5.09 and baseband 5.11.07 already jailbroken with pwnangetool how can I unlock it? I tried getting blacksn0w through cydia and it did not work....any ideas PLEASE!!! (should it be rejailbroken with blackra1n?

hey bud i just bought a iphone 3gs the the version is 3.1.2 (7d11) and firmware 0.5.11.07 i am gonna keep using att so i would have no use for unlocking i just want to jailbreak correct? and if im staying with att i also do NOT have to shut off my 3g internet correct? im just making sure before i try this thx for your time patience video and help

hey, just saw ur clip and nice work but now i have a question. I have an iphone 3gs that i have been using with a t-mobile chip but i made a mistake by updating and now i have that problem where all i see is the usb cord and the itunes on my phone and i just need some help so if you could plz show me how to fix it that will really be appreciated thanks. blackra1n does not work for my phone right now like i did before

Did you update to 3.1.3 if you did, you didn't follow directions from the video, and as of right now there's no way to get back your unlock

I already got my iPhone 3gs jailbroken. Each time I turn It off and then turn it back on it says plug it to blackra1n. I have to make it rain every time it turns off or the battery dies...Fucking annoying and starts pissing you off. So uhh please help me out. Any way this problem can be solved???!!??

Thanks, worked like a charm. I am running 05.11.07 on a 3gs firmware however when i reboot i dont have to make it rain, the phone remains unlocked and jailbroken any reason why?

YES, you have to re-run blackra1n each time you reboot it. Unfortunately you got the iPhone with the NEW BOOTROMS

the unlock and jailbreak worked great but when i turn my phone off, it always starts back up in recovery mode and i have to run blackra1n again. Any suggestions on that??
