hi guys you know how this phone is locked to verizon in US, is it possible to get unlocked version, for use with other service other than verizon?

@blo0magic Actually most cameras show it as orange, even though it is red. So red to such extent it distorts the cameras color etc. im not gonna go into detail. Just lettin ya know. Go to any unboxing of this phone and they even say the camera cant show its awesome redness.

Uhh... the inside is orange? not red.. even as a male, its kind of obvious that the color is orange.. lmao..

@1Eluzai Nope, sorry. Verizon Has much more coverage than Sprint. Coverage maps are always great for information.

@1Eluzai wow. first of all VZ and Sprint DO NOT have identical coverage. I don't know where you are getting your information from. As for Sprints 4G by years end? Do some reading and you'll see why VZ did not go WiMax route. And with VZ already having their LTE going in certain cities, that is their destination. Why would VZ not release a 4G phone for their 4G network? braggin rights? That's like Honda creating an engine that gets 200mpg but then not making a car to put it in.

I can assure you that your comment is false, since I'm replying to this very comment from an area that has poor Sprint reception . Sprint does offer the convenience of free roaming, but you can't always depend on it to roam when you want it to, and data speeds are restricted to EDGE under those circumstances.

@LizKM82, Verizon and Sprint have identical coverage. Also, the EVO has a 4G radio, by years end 120 million people will have access to Sprints 4G. Verizon will not have 4G until mid 2011 at the earliest, there is no guarantee Verizon will have a 4G handset either.

Evo is nice. But you cant beat verizon coverage
