I tried to jailbreak my iPod 3.1.2 it didn't work my iPod went into recovery mode and I couldn't recover it. Luckily I went to apple and they recovered it for me. I'm not saying you shouldn't jail break your iPod or iPhone I'm just saying what happened to mine.
